GAITF and DICT Partner to Deliver Free Robotics Training for Teachers and SHS ICT Students

Global Academy Institute of Technology Foundation (GAITF), Inc. continues to strengthen its commitment to technology-driven education through a collaborative initiative with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). On June 30, 2026, GAITF will host a FREE Robotics Training Program for its teachers and Senior High School Information and Communications Technology (ICT) students at the GAITF Tech4Ed Center.

The training program aims to provide participants with valuable knowledge and practical exposure to robotics, coding, automation, innovation, and emerging technologies that are increasingly shaping the future of education and industry. Through hands-on activities and interactive learning sessions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how robotics can be applied in solving real-world challenges and enhancing learning experiences.

Advancing Technology Education

As a recognized Tech4Ed Center, GAITF remains dedicated to promoting digital literacy, technological innovation, and community empowerment. This robotics training initiative supports the institution’s mission of equipping learners and educators with the skills and competencies needed to thrive in an increasingly digital and technology-driven world.

The program also aligns with national efforts to enhance digital transformation and prepare Filipino learners for future opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. By introducing robotics and automation concepts at the secondary education level, GAITF seeks to inspire students to pursue careers in technology, engineering, research, and innovation.

Empowering Educators and Future Innovators

Teachers participating in the training will have the opportunity to explore innovative teaching approaches that integrate robotics and technology into classroom instruction. Meanwhile, Senior High School ICT students will gain practical skills and firsthand experience that can help strengthen their technical competencies and prepare them for higher education and future careers in the technology sector.

The initiative reflects GAITF’s continuous efforts to provide relevant, future-ready educational experiences that empower both educators and students to become active contributors to digital transformation and technological advancement.

Strengthening Partnerships for Quality Education

GAITF extends its sincere appreciation to the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for its invaluable support and partnership in making this training program possible. Through collaborations such as this, educational institutions and government agencies can work together to bridge digital skills gaps and create meaningful learning opportunities for Filipino youth.

As technology continues to evolve, GAITF remains committed to fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and lifelong learning. The institution looks forward to more initiatives that will empower learners, educators, and communities through technology and digital education.
