The event emphasized the role of the youth in <strong>nation-building<\/strong>, civic responsibility, and supporting the <strong>United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udca1 <strong>Highlights of the Orientation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Interactive Talks<\/strong> on the importance of youth engagement in social development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workshops<\/strong> on project planning, leadership, and advocacy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sharing of Real Stories<\/strong> from GAITF alumni and community volunteers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Introduction to GAITF\u2019s Community Outreach Programs<\/strong> and how students can take part<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f <em>\u201cWe believe that education is not only about academic success, but about forming compassionate and responsible citizens,\u201d<\/em> said a GAITF faculty member during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students were also encouraged to <strong>reflect on social issues<\/strong> affecting their barangays and think of innovative, youth-led solutions.
